We’ve been traveling to Patulup for many years. Our teams have been involved in church building, and environmental issues such as air and water. Teams going to Guatemala have constructed stoves to vent smoke and toxic fumes from their dwellings, and latrines to separate wastewater from drinking water. This last year we supplied money for families to start chicken raising operations for food and money-making projects. And, last but not least, we’ve kept children in schools via scholarships provided by individuals and groups in our church. More important than these physical signs of our help, is the relationships we build among the families in Patulup.
